Very interesting work on the promotive role of hypoxia in somitogenesis. This aligns well with our observations from ex-utero embryo cultures under defined oxygen conditions (alturl.com/jv3n5). Much remains to be discovered about hypoxia biology and its impact on embryogenesis.
