i will show you the true meaning of fear
great!
I wrote a lo-fi, low-life heist scenario for @lukegearing.bsky.social's Violence featuring a rural Newfoundland town, a bronze statue, and one man intent on stealing it. It's free, and you can get it here: meatcastlegameware.itch.io/amelia
The playtest for Dredge Quick and Drown is live, for free, on my itch! Its a game sort of like if you took the Southern Reach Trilogy and set it on the edge of Ankh Morpork. Its also about the only part of Dark Souls that matters: the poison swamps.

winning accolades for inventing the temporal point crawl (the points are time, arranged into a circular pattern)
eight hours left on this. probably less now. cos of how time works
ukulele.
apocalyptically big news; i've changed my mind on how violence handles firing multiple shots. in this time of turbulence i appreciate your good faith and continued understanding. uke apology forthcoming.
Wrote a little violent haiku for @lukegearing.bsky.social’s Violence. Check it out! discodanlives.itch.io/truck-a-scen...
another gromb banger. we love you gromb
oh I mean like paid advertising. people should post about the shit they make lol
also when it is true i feel like a dark wizard scrying his orb for market futures. little treat
any time i see an advert for a product i assume they are advertising cos it's selling like dogshit or losing money or whatever. this usually isn't true but it's a pretty good way of inoculating yourself against adverts ime
please don't do this
kash patel going crazy on the sybian
The process that led to the Holocaust didn't start with killing people.
First it made them non-people.
Then it killed them.
A trap i often see new GMs falling into is thinking that they need to prepare absolutely every detail for every location before they can run a game! Castles and strongholds and their NPCs just need a few things that you can generate at random in order to create an exciting and memorable location!
Don't wanna pester folks too much, but I've been homeless for the last year and we're currently fundraising to get me over to somewhere I'll have safe housing and can finally start living a better life.

extremely crudely make image. delving deeper logo, cleric level 1 cleric be like "i cast NOTHING". this is funny because level 1 clerics in delving deeper have no spells at level 1. please clap

Thorn pointing his battle axe back at golden fruit hanging from a beautiful tree surrounded by the coils of a massive purple worm
Last night, I launched my first Wolves Upon the Coast solo campaign report. I'm loving the system/world already. Plus, Thorn and his crew are already in WAY over their heads so it's going to be exciting to see how these next sessions turn out. Read it HERE: meatcastlegameware.com/blog/2026/2/...
I don't fucking know anymore man
shhh babe i'm not like other gms. my sandbox is full of agency but i'll read your character backstory too ooooooooh
to be a dissenting voice (shocking i know) i think turning this into a more fixed schema undermines the power of just describing things in natural language and trusting the GM to be able to interpret that mechanically for their table - if you're not going to just give em numbers anyway
One of my favourite reading comprehension failures is when I criticise a game and folks come to me like "well ACTUALLY [thing] is not true because [game] has one sentence in its intro that says [other thing]". Like, y'all are aware a text can make claims about itself which are not true, right?
