It was so good 😭 they're incredible live, absoloute perfection 👌🏻 they did David as an encore.
I am seeing NoSo tomorrow in London. Their music sounds like gentle and beautifully intense, guitar-led songs about identity and growing into yourself, from a Korean-American trans perspective. If this feels like your vibe, give them a listen 💜 open.spotify.com/artist/09Wl9...

This is so cute!! I love that it has a pocket 💜🥹
The “what is your love song?” campaign for Arirang is wonderful marketing. Super fun. Super special. And tbh extra nice to prompt people to focus on what they and others around them love in this world at a time where many of us feel overwhelmed at times by the hate around us.
I’ve got a scary scan tomorrow. Necessary, badly timed, heavier because of where I am in my cycle. I know I am looking after myself, even though it doesn’t feel like it.
PMDD shrinks your world for a few days.
If you’re there too, I am sorry. I am here if you want to talk.
When you already feel awful internally and then have to face the world in a body that looks and feels wrong, it hits harder than people realise. I guess sometimes the goal isn’t thriving, it’s just continuing to exist while your brain insists you’re doing life wrong. +
This week has looked like: no exercise, basic food, and skin-picking sneaking back in. My hormones have left my skin red, dry, blotchy, and breaking out. +
I also live with chronic illness, and I’m AuDHD, so when the hormonal dip hits, it *really* hits. Years ago, it felt destructive. These days, with therapy, movement, support, and a very patient partner, it’s more self-sabotage than self-destruction. Not life sparkling progress, but still progress. +
Illustrated circular diagram of the menstrual cycle split into two halves. The right half (follicular phase) shows menstruation with blood drops and ovulation with a small sun icon, mostly clear of symptoms. The left half (luteal phase) is filled with dense scribbles and labelled PMDD, listing symptoms including mood swings, hopelessness, irritability, rejection sensitivity, anger, tearfulness, sleep problems, appetite changes, brain fog, overwhelm, interpersonal conflict, and suicidal thoughts. The contrast visually shows severe symptoms occurring before the period and relief after menstruation begins.
I really hate PMDD.
This week I’ve had no energy. My period was only two days late, but the symptoms were loud. When you live with PMDD, you learn it isn’t just about hormones; it can feel like your brain turns on you. +

patchy at venues, so be prepared to advocate if needed.
🌻If you are Army and don’t rely on accessibility support: assume good intent, give a bit of space, and follow the person’s lead. It isn’t a cue to intervene; it’s a cue to be patient and make the space easier for +
• Bring any supports you already rely on (ear defenders, meds, water, seating aid, etc.). The sunflower helps, but it doesn’t replace planning.
The lanyard works best when staff know what it means. Awareness is generally good in UK transport and airports, but it can be +
🌻 How to use it well at Arirang (YAY!)
• Wear it visibly in queues and on transport.
• Have a simple line ready if needed:
“I have a hidden disability; I may need extra time.”
• Still check the stadium’s accessibility info in advance. +
🌻 You can also choose whether to wear just the lanyard, the card, or both.
Many people write their needs on their cards. Mine says: “I need calm, clear instructions, and please don’t touch me.”

• Sunflower Extra (smart card): has NFC tech: when tapped on a phone, it opens a secure digital profile showing only the support needs you choose to share. +
