This is WILD!
Star Trek The Next Generation scene. Pictured is "After hours Geordi La Forge." He's wearing a velvety cushy soft looking future space guy sweater and he's ready to chillax to the max. Also and always wearing his banana clip looking eye visor. Closed caption reads, "Maybe a little soft jazz."

Excellent read if youβre interested in a concise history of one of my favorite console lineages, the PC Engine.
Sheer madness... in the best ways possible!

As a huge Ghosts βn Goblins fan, I remember hounding Capcom for more on Maximo whenever the opportunity presented itself. I was once there to see something else but probably spent most of my time prodding David Siller for info on the game before it was actually shown.
Wow. Would love to see more of this. Maximo is one of my favorite PS2 games and even got a cover at PSM. Fond memories of playing it at Sonyβs E3 booth with my late friend Tomonobu Itagaki.
Brand new TMBG--It's a hit!

If youβre worried about the future of games, remember that your $ holds enormous sway. Support companies who actually care about the art and craft of making games, who put people first and value their employees & audiences. Support indies especially. The future doesnβt belong to greedy corporations
Now Mantiques I have been toβmany times. Or as I sometimes call it, Total Visual Overload. Last time I was there I left with an ALF tiki mug and an Alleyway cartridge for my Analogue Pocket.
Ah right! I still need to actually visit there, despite going to their quarterly show many times. Anyway, excellent find and glad you shared it.
Wow, nice! Which store?
"8 retro milk caps"? Pogs = sold!

βNo ads in your AI.β
Downloads jumped 211% week-over-week.
Every other major AI app dipped or stayed flat.
And the craziest part?
The biggest day wasnβt game day.
It was a week later.
Thatβs not a spike.
Thatβs momentum.
π₯ Grok just matched ChatGPTβs first year revenue on mobile.
~$79M in 12 months (estimated).
ChatGPT did ~$80M in its first 12.
The difference?
ChatGPT launched alone.
Grok launched into a knife fight.
If this pace holds, year two gets interesting fast.
Quick trend of December average selling prices of new video game hardware, physical software and accessories over the past 10 years in the US.
The average price paid per unit of hardware increased by 87% over that period, accessories jumped 121%, and software only 4% (which surprised me tbh).
π Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile shuts down April 17.
Lifetime estimates: 24.8M downloads, $17.3M gross ($12.1M after stores' fees).
For context, the still-functional COD Mobile sits at 459M installs and $2.47B.
Same franchise.
Completely different scale.
