I'm not sure about that. I know council meetings took place in Dec for NHLBI, for example, and still there are no New R01. Councils for other ICs happened at similar times and some of them have funded new R01's

The New grant funding seems to be institute-specific because as of today NHLBI has not funded a single new R01 in FY26. Any idea why institutes aren’t operating consistently?
