Get pet insurance please for the love of christ. I got Boo insured at 5 weeks old before I even had her living with me. Last week she got a foreign body stuck in her gut. I paid direct through insurance. Of a £2,900 vet bill I paid like £150 for the excess and admin fee

Reddit is starting to infuriate me. Largely due to people in cat reddits who do not have pet insurance and then don't take their clearly ill pet who obviously needs medical attention to the vet because they can't afford it, opting to ask for opinions on reddit instead.

Yes I am still doing the new to running thing is just re-did week 1 after a week off and this time I'm hurting my feet.

runna is a great app but it is delicate considering it needs to be open on my phone left unlocked while I run otherwise it doesn't record pace and adds random time to intervals

I finally went skating and I cannot still skate! I didn't fall over! I wasn't amazing or anything but I'm more or less where I was

Gonna have to rest a week and restart because my right foot has decided to tell me "hey you did that wrong" aka I have foot pain probably some mild plantar fasciitis or something :/

Run 3 - totally ballsed up. Runna didn't record my pace or route at all and added a random 11 seconds to every interval. I think it doesn't like it if I start the exercise on my fitbit first. Whoops. Anyway my cat is giving me a post jog hug.

Runna app screen: 2.64km completed in 29:51 minutes with an average pace of 11:18 /KM

Pace chart, fastest pace was 8:35/km most run intervals around the 9:20/km time range

App sort of fucked up the start of run 2 by giving me an extra minute in the warm up and first run, which i then fixed by doing a skip to next lap at the end of my first walk interval, which threw off the pace? But hey, I did the world's slowest run for a whole 2 minutes 5 entire times (

I think I'm about to learn a hard lesson about pacing but I found that fairly easy to complete. I like that the app includes a pre and post run warm up and stretch routine. I dunno if I'm actually doing a jog or just a bouncy quick walk but whatever
