One of my bugbears in the working world is the "busier than thou" hierarchy, especially the Too Busy To Write Proper Emails flex. So much professional interaction is predicated on the idea that some people's time is there to be wasted while others are too important to even type 'hello'.

It's a rainy Sunday so I'm watching Sense and Sensibility in bed. I think I'm cracking the formula on to how to enjoy life.

It's one of the main issues facing mainstream parties. Labour suits view the electorate as a blob-like, slow thinking Other with easily decodable hacks, not a population of complex, fully human beings with fractals of concerns. Its why every message reads like a LinkedIn post & strategy falls flat

Aside from being a transparent lie I absolutely love the position "we lost because the voters didn't play fair"

The fantastic thing about that is convertly admitting that when you combine the left-leaving vote, it absolutely annihilates Reform. But apparently chasing extreme right-wing talking points is the Sensible, Election Winning position

Seeing a few takes that the by-election result is due to the media. But that's letting Labour off the hook, in my opinion. Sure, they are up against the hostile right-wing press, but if you look at the channels they entirely own (i.e. Facebook) it's clear they CANNOT COMMUNICATE.

It boils my piss that brands are allowed to do this. Like Cola's big-eyed AI animals in the Xmas ad. If you are literally destroying the planet in the pursuit of hawking your shoddy shit, then using animals in marketing is OFF LIMITS. Sorry. Show some plastic-strewn beaches or felled rainforests

It feels more like the current leadership are determined to get a Reform government - their comms are awful, they are wildly against nature, they're obsessed with The Boats, constrained by self inflicted financial rules, glamoured by Blackrock, are dour and hopeless. I think change would be good
