just uhg UHG, I have so many nitpicks about so much art I consume and you know what I channel that into ?? more art. if your nitpicks are petty or personal just shut up and make something
I actually have no interest in hearing these kind of things from ppl, I remember last week I was talking about cool streaming shows at an art meetup and one girl kept saying how she hated an episode of The Bear just because of how it was shot, conversation went nowhere after that, vibe killer
being a minority means worrying about problems that aren’t as urgent for you, while the things that are, are often ignored I guess
like, skin cancer being the most prevalent form of cancer in America is a true statement, but the most common forms of cancer in black ppl are breast and prostate, one of which i’ve seen several high profile black men die of so like, I dunno
I feel some kind of way sometimes about how skin cancer and sun exposure is discussed like I understand everyone can get it and early detection is key to survival but the urgency and lack of transparency around risk factors for different countries and skin tones is interesting
I also feel some kinda way about evictions being public record

actually I think my feeling are not that kids inherently need adult jokes, obscure references and challenging themes in everything they watch but that 20-something’s have duped themselves into thinking the kids media they enjoy was actually designed for them and not everyone 7 and Up
this is why 6 yr olds are busy watching videos about Poppy Playtime and Sirenhead on youtube
