Fisher's Log: February 23, 2026 at the time of writing, according to Carbuncle Plushy, i have only 16 Heavensward big fish remaining. the "easier" big fish are for the most part completed, and many of the big fish windows are 20+ minutes apart, as opposed to many being up at the same time and forcing me to choose. to fill time, i'm working on easier fish and the fishing relic in Heavensward. fish one: Thinker's Coral step one of the Skysteel Fishing Rod requires 40 pieces of Thinker's Coral. this brings me to the Thaliak River in the Dravanian Hinterlands. it was a new addition to my fishing log, bringing me to 1,094 unique fish. in catching 40 pieces of coral, i also caught a couple other friends. they also have single ! bites, so until i realized that the coral sweet spot was between 7 and 12 seconds of cast time, i caught 28 Autumn Leaves and 18 Shipworms, to be exact. fish two: Dragonspine step two is 60 Dragonspines, planting me at the Dragonspit fishing hole in the

all of the streamers that i am still friends with today or still admire quit a long time ago. the industry was eating them alive. i wasn't even big fish by ANY means and it ate me alive. it is just not a very healthy or well-adjusted industry

i dont want to speak over anyone but i was tangentially involved in the streaming space over 2020 to about 2023, give or take, and 99% of people who pursue streaming as a career are not people who are enjoyable to be around
