One thing I find hard about being stalked, going on 7 years now, is to picture the future knowing this won’t end any time soon. Early on, I’d think about what I’d do once it was over and I was free. I’ve now accepted the end is many years away. So how do I switch back and forth from survival mode
Avoid red Gatorade because if they do throw up it’s a mess (learned that the hard way). A lot of times they get side effects the first couple infusions and then are fine. 2 of my kids were like that and 2 were not. You find a groove. Best of luck to you guys!
We super hydrated beforehand with Gatorade and started taking Ibuprofen in a schedule every 6 hours once they finished a round. Some kids take steroids but mine don’t do well with steroids. Caffeine is good if they get a headache. Taking Benadryl right before the infusion can help.

All 4 of my kids had monthly IVIG for years. So grateful for it. Life changing. Theirs was high dose (2g/kg for PANDAS, not immune deficiency) so it was a bit intense at times but the hypogammaglobulinemia dosing will be much more reasonable. Best of luck!
