Hey, posting this here on behalf of my friend Cougarmint.
Her mother is in a financial crisis at the moment, and could lose her car if she doesn't get aid. Her job doesn't have any clients available (she works for a home health aide company), and she's suffering from debilitating back issues.
This is a serious emergency post. As of last Monday, I have been kicked out of my house and the family refuses to let me return.

I've already been consoled and given sympathies by many of my friends, and I will forever be grateful for their kindness. But a loss like this is a hard pill to swallow.

Mom said that I was Grandma's world. For a lot of my life, she was mine too.
Every chance we could get to eat lunch together, we would take it. We would smile, we would laugh, we would just... enjoy each other's company.
But now I can never look forward to those moments with the same enthusiasm.
She had been stuck in the hospital for months, undergoing treatment for various health issues that had sprung up around the end of last year.
Even though she was a stubborn fighter and it seemed like she was on the road to recovery, it was finally her time to go.
Yesterday, I lost someone who was there for me my entire life. Someone who I loved so much, that knowing she's gone leaves a hole in my heart that can't be filled.
I had to be told by my mother last night that her mother, my grandmother Judith, passed away.
I knew about the strikes, but I wasn't aware they were *still* going on.
Having to strike for six months now without a breakthrough is ridiculous. Keep fighting, Yuri; you're one of my voice acting inspirations, and I don't plan on letting AI change that.
I love this cat and you all should too. Just sayin'.
