They almost never live a normal life. The superwealthy get deferments while everone else gets drafted or they join up for the benefits because, for some, its their only option. It is infuriating! America is an oligarchy.

What veterans go through is more than what most people can handle. My dad had severe PTSD, he told me stories that were horrific. He even said if they ever brought the draft back he would move me up to Canada, he didn't want me to see what he saw.

I saw them walking through the farm that's nearby. Usually they get away before I can get a shot.

No I didn't. 😞 I was eagle eyed around Bear Swamp trying to find them. I did see some Turkeys when leaving though.

Thank you! My current job would still pay me, I also have 170 hours of vacation time. The only time I ever had to show was 2004, and they settled out of court so we all went home. My job in 04 would not have paid me lol.

I went to Bombay Hook yesterday for the first time in months! I noticed one of the houses close by burned down. What a shame too, I would have loved to have lived near there.

I am so sorry she passed away. They become a part of us. Duckie is turning 13 in May, Smokey is turning 14 this year. I'm terrified about losing them both. My girlfriend and I have had Duckie since a year after we met. She has been apart of our lives since the very beginning of our relationship.

She is pretty selective on pain meds. She only took ibuprofen for the pain and temporarily oxycodone. Now its extensive ice packs and aleve. We have an ice maker running all day.
