For some reason people are responding βactually itβs a good questionβ and I submit to you that no, it is not, itβs Tapper replaying Iraq in his head and taking up his station as the Troop Defender. Nobody in this administration gives a shit about the troops. Thatβs not the line of attack anymore.

Finally warm enough out to get the Caddy out from under the cover. π¬
24 hours? Not this year. π€·ββοΈΒ
International Womenβs Day comes up one hour short this year. Today, PWHL players who wear 24 are wearing 23 β a reminder that when women get less, the answer is to give womenβs sports more.
Trumpflation.
i hate this stupid fucking system more than anything in the world. a system that benefits nobody, actively harms everybody, could be changed at literally any point in time, YET WE STILL KEEP DOING THIS MADNESS ANYWAY. YEAR AFTER YEAR WE DO THIS STUPID SONG AND DANCE FOR NO GOD DAMN REASON
My sister had a sporty variant of one of these. More fun to drive that you would expect.

Per Mercogliano: βIt was considered unreasonably high by multiple sources from interested parties, some of whom thought β or at least hoped β that Drury was posturing and would reduce his ask as the deadline approached.β
Skill. Issue.
Vince confirms that Drury walked in announcing his hand and didnβt back off it.
Thatβs akin to a boomer trying to sell an undriven base model C5 Corvette for $75k because they βknow what theyβve got,β despite the market being flooded with them.
Drury is out of his depth.
Again, Gavrikov has the slap shot that Trouba thought he had. #NYR
Iβm not saying the 90s had the best cars ever made but this video does and is a great way to spend your afternoon with a cuppa. So many great ones. #weirdcarbs

Spanish PM Pedro SΓ‘nchez:
You may have heard that Spain is alone. Theyβre the same people who said that when we recognized the State of Palestine, and then others followed.
We are not alone β we are the first. Those who will end up alone are the ones defending the indefensible.
4 panel comic Panel 1: A Pink Guy and an Orange Guy are sitting in the cinema. Pink Guy is munching popcorn and Orange Guy is slurping fizzy pop. Pink Guy points up at screen and says βis that guy cool?β Panel 2: Orange Guy pauses drinking and replies βhe just blew up a school full of kidsβ Panel 3: Pink Guy says βNo, I knowβ Panel 4: We see the anti-hero on screen. He is wearing a purple t-shirt and a baseball cap facing backwards. Pink Guy continues, βbut his cap is so BACKWARDSβ

If there were any integrity in the whole dealership ecosystem and it didnβt exist solely to extort consumers, Iβd really be pro-dealer here. However, this is a situation where reputation and good will (lack thereof, really) precede all legal considerations.
Love this! I love cars from the 90βs because it was the last analog era, where you had good technology (like ABS, airbags, hydraulic power steering) but before everything was over-technologized*. I plan to watch this later. Thanks for sharing!
I wish I liked these but I really canβt get past the styling. Bleh.

I think ultimately what is most frustrating about the situation is that Iβd rather not be in it at all. Iβd prefer to keep Trocheck; at $5.65m, heβs a bargain with reasonable term. Iβd rather be rid of JT Miller at $8m and an extra year.
I worry what Drury will do with more time.
Trocheck handcuffed the Guerin talk because he wasnβt willing to go west BUT Detroit was looking for a center AND Carolina was reported to have shown interest late, and youβre telling me there was no deal to be had between the two? Thatβs a skill issue, my friend.
I do not get the sense that other GMs like Chris Drury and they certainly donβt trust him. A good GM would have been able to turn Trocheck for the return he was looking for.
Itβs like poker, if you tell everyone youβve got the high hand as soon as you sit down, everyone will walk away.
Unsurprising result. A good negotiator doesnβt just say, βHereβs my price, gimme it.β People make or donβt make deals based on whether they perceive you as likable and trustworthy. Itβs relationship-building and the best ones will make you feel good about your deal, every timeβ¦
Sam Carrick was maybe the Rangers best forward last season when things really started falling apart. His ceiling always was what it was but he played to it, which is more than can be said for pretty much all of his teammates. Good luck in Buffalo, Sam! #NYR
In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.
High gas prices, war in the middle east, unpopular president, soaring unemployment. Welcome back second term Bush administration.
"We think. We read. We are not peasants. We are mechanics. But even the peasants know better than to believe in a war. Everybody hates this war." "There is a class that controls a country that is stupid and does not realize anything and never can. That is why we have this war." "Also they make money out of it." "Most of them don't," said Passini. "They are too stupid. They do it for nothing. For stupidity."
