I know my needs seem endless. That is the problem with multiple genetic/some life limiting disabilities in a system that wants you dead. I do not get any government aid. No SSI or SSDI. No medicaid. No SNAP. I fall through every crack. I used to make $ on my newsletter, but you know that story.
I have been trying to get this for months. I live in a red state that stripped all my civil rights, just passed a bill bringing back conversion therapy, no longer counts my ppl in education stats ... I am disabled as well. I really need access to community, too. #MutualAid Thx so much for shares.
My great niece is still hospitalized ... improving on IV antibiotics for the pneumonia. But my cousin just messaged me to say she has colon cancer. That's on top of the other relative who is facing cancer. This sucks. Familial genetic cancer mutations SUCK.
Messaging guidance:
Stop saying "HCBS." It sounds like a bank that finances arms dealers.
Spell out "home and community based services." Home is a word with positive connotations. Community, likewise, has positive connotations.

Also this guy I spoke with the other day and his spouse often worked with clients who were harmed by my hypnotist and they had to do a lot of work with them to help them recover.

That creep apparently liked to wield false accusations against other hypnotists and threaten to sue them etc. to scare them out of the business-- and it worked.
I talked to another SLC hypnotist who I discovered in my emails from way back when my hypnotist (a serial predator, I now know) harmed me and holy crap, this story is even bigger than I imagined, and I already imagined it was big.
Here's one (and this is in a coming essay). He did not drop out of high school in 1954 to join the Navy as he claimed. Nope. He dropped out in 1952, worked at a battery factory for two years, then enlisted. I don't think he was lying, though. He had amnesia, too.
The one good thing about my desk collapsing (besides nobody getting hurt!) is that it forced me to sort through some papers and do some cleaning I had been putting off (thx ADHD & EDS & grief & blah blah blah). Then once I got cleaning, I couldn't stop. Now I'm on the "clear clutter" train.
You all, the discoveries I am making about my father even still as I sort through his papers. He really had all these secret geographies and other lives ... it's fascinating.

I was told I was too old for vision therapy to reap any benefits, but I just read someone on Reddit my age (51) who is benefiting! I am going to push again, though I doubt I can afford it.
Donations last month helped with medications, the extreme costs of food now, and paying insurance! I will have to raise $392 again for the premium and $700 toward rollator. Getting hearing aids in to that cheaper place if that guy checks out--otherwise have a bit to go on that! Thx so much!!!
