Lampard played his substitutes perfectly. Moving to a back three limited Bristol City to pot shots, Simms and BTA reversed the momentum.
Another really solid away performance and we edge closer to promotion. 4 more wins does it, maybe 6 to win the league.
Big push this week and we could be on 80 and all but there.
HT: We’ve been clinical and should be set for a comfy win but that red card is going to make it a tough second-half.
Probably need to survive the first 20-30 mins before hitting them with BTA’s pace against a tired defence.

This was a great time to win three in a row. We might only need to win another five or six to get promoted with 12 matches to go.
Felt like some of those away wins a few months ago where almost all the key moments went our way. Far from perfect but if you can stay in games, you give yourself the chance to get points.
HT: We’re trying to sit in then break but aren’t using the ball well enough for that to be effective. There are gaps at the back of Sheff Utd to exploit but we’re fluffing our lines and inviting pressure.

We really picked out moments to sit deep and when to come out and press well tonight. Possibly a template for our away performances.
That was very enjoyable. We looked far more engaged and energetic for the most part than we have in weeks. Onyeka seemed to empower others to play aggressively. Rudoni and Wright excellent when we went more direct.
I hope the same but fear this may be another roulette selection
It’s something I would consider but I don’t think either Lampard or Wright want that.

HT: We look really short of inspiration and continue to leave gaps at the back. Despite a change in personnel, that midfield looks all over the place off-the-ball. Need to find some quality and energy in the second half or we’ll lose this.

Think Lampard likes having Eccles further forward for his pressing, rather than skill. Would also say Torp is better with space in front of him, whereas if he's further forward, he has to play on the turn or into contact, which isn't his strength.
