"engineers, scientists"
They don't give that impression.
"plan" is a bit of a reach when referring to any of Corbyn's pronouncements.
Listing storage solutions is not the same as having an achievable plan. Storage-wise it probably needs several weeks capacity. Wind will require huge over-capacity that sits unused when it is windy. Where is hydro going to go, for example? Tidal might get to 10% or so if fully utilised.
I think you need to sit down calmly, take a stress pill and think things over.
I think Bluesky is fine, it is a small minority of people that have arrived recently. They generally go away or get banned after a time, like the Corbynistas and Faragites.
I have found Polanski's followers to be just as obnoxious as Farage's - condescending and abusive when challenged. Neither offer sensible solutions and just resort to insults. It is a personality cult.
Those are all short duration storage modalities.
You have no answer so you resort to abuse.
What happens when the country is stuck under thick cloud with little wind in mid-winter for a couple of weeks?
What happens when the country is stuck under thick cloud with little wind in mid-winter for a couple of weeks? This is the problem with the Green Party, it is all aspirational, "sounds good" stuff with no practical plan.
They are copper among other things.
You can't be certain that civilisation won't be wiped out by a meteor. You can however place a degree of certainty based on available knowledge.

Where is the hydro going to be? How much tidal and where?
You haven't answered my question.
How big a battery would you need to power London for several weeks?
Nonsense. There are geographically stable areas in the UK where it can be stored safely.
Findoutnow are polling people who play their online postcode lottery. Selection bias makes the results junk.
Compare the cost of electricity in France, where most of the electricity is generated by nuclear power and the UK.
Nuclear power is among the safest generation systems. France generates most of their electricity from nuclear power.
What happens in dark mid-winter with the country in the doldrums? Little solar and wind power for weeks on end?
Difficult and expensive to do without nuclear base generating capacity.
AI is blamed for the UK graduate market being in the doldrums when the rest of Europe seems to be doing fine. Nothing to do with Brexit of course. Ditto for the US and Trump.
