Oh I have my own views on Alba and despite my frustrations with the progress of independence, that's not the party for me for the above reasons. I actually think all politicians are self selling arseholes and the whole thing is a pantomime. But it is what it is...
Yes the bigger picture is independence and then creating our own landscape but unfortunately the fringe groups don't see it which is why I don't think it's going to happen whilst we are alive.
But it shouldn't be like that, a monopoly. It's not healthy and reliant on the SNP to deliver something they've promised over and over but not given is only going to create more frustration. Alba etc are a direct result of that frustration and the lack of serious movement within the SNP.
