This isn't incremental—it's a new standard for continuous measurement in the unsaturated zone.
Critical for: hydrogeologists, soil scientists, environmental consultants, ecosystem researchers & anyone protecting groundwater resources.
The innovation: DMR's novel soil-water sampler does automated pore water collection WHILE logging volumetric water content & soil matric potential in real-time.
Result? High-resolution data on how pollutants actually move through soil.
The challenge: Traditional groundwater assessments focus on aquifers, but miss what's happening in the unsaturated zone above—where contaminants accumulate before reaching our water supply.
Revolutionary groundwater monitoring tech from Denmark!Dr. Poul Larsen from Dansk Miljørådgivning (DMR) presents breakthrough instrumentation that tracks nutrient & pollutant transport through soil in ways never before possible.Watch our latest AnaEE TechUp! Webinar 🧵👇
Our research on Mediterranean forest resilience in a changing climate has been accepted for presentation at the Forecomon conference in Dubrovnik 🌳 we'll present how our pan-European network of experimental sites is studying these vital ecosystems' responses to climate change. Link Below for more.
🎉 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN: #ANAEESC26 - Ecosystem Science for a Resilient Future - bringing together researchers and policymakers to tackle critical ecosystem challenges through 7 thematic sessions. Don't miss our Environmental Rising Star Award for postdocs (€2,000 research visit + travel support)

Our team met the #Bulgarian node during our Assembly of Members discussing upcoming strategy work (next 5 y. period) with projects on the horizon. Thanks to the Bulgarian colleagues for their great hospitality, the AoM for feedback and wise advice as usual, and wish everyone a relaxed weekend.
How can Europe's research institutions collaborate to deal with global issues such as food safety, water scarcity, and biodiversity loss?
Coordinated by @lifewatcheric.bsky.social, European RIs state their commitment to transform scientific cooperation into actionable policy and robust innovation.
Our entire team of 14 is gathered for 3 intensive days at the #O3HP facility in France. We now have 4 fully operational centres with key personnel—which means we can launch exciting new activities and services to boost climate change research and help guide industry toward sustainable practices.
🌿 We were pleased to see the @holisoils.bsky.social visit to the #O3HP experimental site — part of @anaeefrance.bsky.social - highlighting the crucial role of soil research in understanding how Mediterranean forests respond to #ClimateChange. Link to article in the comments.
