Yes, we have a couple of snow chances this first week of February. However, as of now, neither of these appear to bring heavy snowfall. A couple of ensembles keep our chance of 1" on the very low side.
Remember, though, between overnight refreeze and a light snow can cause slick and dangerous roads

I don’t want this to get lost in the shuffle... Wind chills will drop well below zero in many areas Friday night, into Saturday morning. Going out Friday night? The cold will start blowing in after sunset.

We've been talking about the storm track the last couple of days but that's only one factor we have to watch and consider!
Still monitoring the potential for a potent winter storm this upcoming weekend, January 24-25
One question we still have is the storm track. Strong high pressure to the north could keep the storm (low pressure) from moving farther north. The farther N the storm is, the higher chance for snow in MD
