7 STOPS????? Thatβs amazing. Great results and beautiful photos
Iβve been seeing a lot of this film lately. So pretty.
Thank you! ππ
A square, black and white photo made with a Holga plastic film camera. Ghostly figures of ice skaters fill much of the frame; the result of making several exposures (six or so) on one frame of film.
"Rockefeller Center Skating Rink". A handheld, multiple exposure image made with a #Holga camera in NYC. #filmphotography #blackandwhitephotography

Many thanks to Executive Director Crista Dix and everyone at the Griffin for all their blood, sweat, and tears in making this show happen every year.
This is my piece.
@lindaplaisted.bsky.social, itβs an honor to be placed next to you, and congratulations on your sale!
So glad I had the chance to see the Winter Solstice 2025 Exhibition at the @griffinmuseum.bsky.social on Tuesday. Seeing the show and recognizing so many names really lifted me up and gave me a sense of community. This non-juried annual show is for all members. More thoughts in commentsβ¦
My latest newsletter is out. Writing monthly has been a good practice for me.
Likewise, Maureen!
So glad to have a photo in the latest #plasticperspective.
Itβs a collaborative piece with James David Tabor out in Arizona.

A Common Myna I encountered in Singaporeβs Gardens by the Bay. I had last seen these birds in Hawaii.

Thank you, Sue. We are glad heβs ok.
Ken was in the middle of his talk at Symposium Books when the shooting happened the next street over. They had to lock down. Thankfully the shooter did not try to go into the store. My heart breaks for the victims and all the college kids in Providence. The shooter is still at large.
A panoramic photograph taken on 35mm film. The image shows Valley 1 at Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. Hundreds of βgoblinsβ (hoodoos) are seen across the length of the image.
Todayβs #BlueSkyArtShow theme perfectly coincides with my recent #SprocketRocket series because one of my all-time #favoritethings is the American Southwest!

I wonder of I could stop using Meta altogether.

Iβm currently listening to the audiobook THE COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED, by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga. I wasnβt familiar with Alfred Adlerβs psychology theory. The way it is presented in here makes me think that it has overlaps with the Daoist belief in not seeking external approval from others.
