Getting close to delivering final manuscript of 3rd ed of Using Software in Qualitative Methods. Onto the fun part now = doing the figures. Mix of self drawn artwork and software screenshots. Been very controlled not doing them yet but have planned them all and taking myself away soon to focus on it

today I led a workshop on doing thematic analysis using MAXQDA and we discussed how method relates to methodology and epistemological positioning, and how tools are not themselves methods, but are for researchers to harness to enact methods. Some of my favourite topics #LoveMyJob

Today I was in London Town, enjoyed a bit of downtime to myself before heading over to the AQR AI hackathon…

Today I'm writing about the role of #CAQDAS tools in achieving and demonstrating quality in #QDA and am reminded of this quote by the great Clive Seale. Written more than 25 years ago but still very true...
