I am deeply saddened by the death of Captain Philip Gilbert Muldowney of 4th Regiment Royal Artillery, who died on Sunday following an incident during live fire training.
He was clearly an exceptional young man & outstanding officer & I know his unit, family and friends are devastated by his loss.
Today we mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
We remember the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions more murdered under Nazi persecution. We also remember where persecution led in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
So proud of our Armed Forces Bill which is bringing much needed improvements to how we look after our service personnel and prepare to face the challenges ahead๐
Victims *must* be at the heart of the Service Justice System and we are strengthening protections and improving accountability to do just that in our Armed Forces Bill.

We're so lucky to have Ashgate Hospice in North East Derbyshire. I hear all the time from people whose loved ones have been cared for there and how much it's meant to them
