I wondered why La Mordor was on the show and then Angelone happened to her.
Why yes it is!
Published in 1954, written by Richard Matheson.
I shall track it down.
Absolutely this.
π
It's a joyous event. As you say - more of this sort of thing!
Delightful.
Paint on rice paper and then placed in the window? Really smart stuff, although that Blobby one is mildly terrifying.
Lovely stuff, click for the whole thread...
More of this kind of thing, please.
Is that the novel they made a Will Smith film from?
Hang it in the Borghese.
Enjoying the hell out of this.
For International Women's Day, Adam's given over his programme to six 30-minute playlists compiled by different Cymraes artists.

For my American chums - this Post Box #Mailbox is *at least* 125 years old
Yeah, I don't think we've been using that one for a wee while now π
That'll do it.
Yes. They'd have lost.
I only started watching at 56mins. Were France that bad in the 1st half?
Aye.
Oh well, Daiquiris it is.
I had a bet with Herself that it'll be 60.
Not so sure now.
Well that was a special try.
France are imploding. Unreal mun.
We made our own for our 'music salon'
4ft by 2ft open wooden frames about 4" deep with woolly cloth stretched over the front. Fill the space behind with upholstery foam. Hanged em on the walls.
In that restaurant a few on the ceiling too and it will be miles more pleasant.
Oh indeed. I much prefer professional criminals who don't draw attention to themselves. These ostentatious, boorish types are very tiresome.
Some do.
Reliably informed all the clever kids use 30-40yo mules driving 8 yo VW Passats sticking broadly to the speed limit.
No-one bats an eye to a family man.
to his children's weddings, yes.
Yup.
Anecdata from my ex-Bobby nephew confirms this.
*time to reduce ^by^ 60dB, not ^to^ 60dB
FFS.
I only see him at family weddings, but I receive the occasional report.
It can be hard to measure RT60 as 100dB is a dangerously loud noise & so we usually measure a 20dB drop and extrapolate. We call this T20. It's a bit more complicated than this, but you get the gist.
All that naked concrete must be all but unbearable. My sympathies.
A room's reverberation time is measured in seconds. RT60 is the metric we use - it's the time it takes a 100dB noise to fall to 60dB, which is a level that is regarded as background noise. Anything over 2 seconds is echoic and pretty unpleasant. About 1 second is nice for classrooms and restaurants.
