Ordered the other day and looking forward to this episode!
@intertextuality
A slightly atypical interview-based podcast. The show helps explore many of the interests I have, including board and all things creating. Listenable everywhere—Spotify link attached: https://shorturl.at/TPvYP

Applicable.
Congratulations! Was in the middle of some work before and almost forgot—glad I caught this post :)

I still need the HD picture!
@tombrewster.bsky.social joins the show to take on the (second) hottest new roguelike, “Chip Cat Breach.”
With different challenges, meta-construction of the game in real time, and an all around great conversation, this is a wild ride you don’t want to miss.

heartwarming, melancholy, and a whole range of emotions.
There is a bunch of board game media that I love; Amabel’s work is at the top of that list.
There’s some bad board game media rightfully being criticized right about now. This post isn’t meant to detract from that—keep shitting on bad actors.
On the flip side, I just finished up @amabel.bsky.social’s most recent video essay: youtu.be/dTepZ7qM24Q?...

@cmyk.games's @alex.cmyk.games joins Intertextual Experience for its newest episode.
It's unsurprisingly amazing, and I could type a whole bunch of words explaining why it is. But I'll just let the episode, colors, and Alex speak for themselves.

More Phantasticness continues with another set of games in the mail, this time from @buttonshy.bsky.social — the whole purchase planned around picking up @marcelineleiman.bsky.social ‘s Phantasmic!
(Really excited for the other ones to join the never-ending Button Shy collection too)
Adorable 😸
People don’t deserve cats, but I’m super glad we have them.
Or is Spookyboo just the type/vibe/look? I'm tired 😅
No matter what, cats are the best.
Cleopatra has the most exquisite tastes when it comes to card games.
Cannot wait for you to get your copy as well!
Spookyboo is such a great name :)
Cleopatra has been slightly sassy towards her newest sister (just a little bit of an adjustment, and we have four cats now...), but she has the biggest personality. So mischievous in not actually bad or destructive ways—an absolute character.
Cleopatra, a cat, and some awesome games. Cleo loves game-mail day.
Cleopatra is eagerly anticipating cracking open some new @asmeesh.bsky.social art as well 🐈⬛

Getting new New Mill (with another game @dnlnwmn.bsky.social got from TGM) is a great way to start the week!
Was really excited about this set—can’t wait to get them played.
Will always shout out what Daniel is doing and the extra care/customer service in addition to the awesome games NM is making
does, like you mention, call into question intention/core/heart/etc. for what libraries are working to do.
Nothing in the library world and/or media marketing space are my expertise, so it’s merely an interesting musing.
Ooh—fun (/I think I saw that in your bio too)!
In another life, working in a library would have been great.
Anyway, I have seen some libraries making media or becoming “viral” and all that. On one hand, I guess I understand bringing attention to the great resource that they are. On the other, it
Thank you so much for listening and the kind words!
Fortunate that my job allows me to check out of the factory frequently, but it's always looming/piling up if I stay away too long.
Anyway, so much awesome stuff here from @raybird.bsky.social has had me pondering creativity in different ways 🙂
I had SUCH a blast recording this episode! Ryan is a wonderful host with a knack for sparking interesting and meaningful conversation!
Check out this episode to listen to me ramble about email factories, the death of virality, and what games I'm playing now (the episode thumbnail is a hint!)
It was such a blast—thank you so much for the kind words and making it great!
The game hinted at in the thumbnail is definitely already wishlisted 😂

Come for the D20-headed bacteriophage, stay for literally everything/anything else.
Ray’s insight, stories, advice for hypothetical situations, and more make this a wonderful listen!
Thank you for getting the rights to out of print games, making them attainable (and super awesomely produced), working on other localizations, and everything else you do!
Guessing I already own around twenty-five 25th Century Games.
What's the harm in a few more?
Congratulations!!
Wish I was there but am super psyched seeing all the awesome work being done. Thanks for putting a spotlight on indie games and designing awesome games in general 🙂
