I believe I wrote a very similar piece to this.... four years ago.
The problem with the Democratic Party of Florida is... the Democratic Party of Florida. They are getting in their own way. They're being led by republican-lite candidates and refuse to support young and progressive voices.
For nearly 100 years, registering to vote has required only basic identifying info — not a passport, not a birth certificate, no documents required.
The SAVE Act would change that.
It’s not about fraud - it's exclusion.
History shows who that hits hardest.
