It was such an honor to be able to attend this ceremony today. Life changing words were spoken and life changing lessons learned.

I can give it a read, too. I research Maryland slavery mostly during the War of 1812 but also during the Revolutionary period.
I wrote my dissertation on Maryland history having never set foot in the state prior to starting my research. I enjoyed it so much. I think my perspective meant I didn’t assume the reader knew something that I did about the state or its peculiar geography.
