If you have any concerns about the humidity in your house/apartment, I think it's absolutely worth buying 2-3+ hygrometers (that measure humidity) to place strategically around your home. Digital ones are fairly inexpensive; I think I spent maybe $10-12/meter for the 3 I have.

Don't get me wrong: I am truly excited for this new opportunity, but I've also heard the revised-down job data that just came out. I'm super-lucky to have landed a new job in 2025, and my heart goes out to everyone struggling in this blighted job market. But I don't want to brag or gloat.
I'm going to be starting a new job on Monday, and I want to be excited about it. The mission is something I'm really passionate about, and they're offering me significantly more pay for what sounds like similar work. But, it feels weird celebrating my personal win when things are so bad all over.
