Was hoping to start the stream at 6 tonight but I had to restart the upload of yesterday's VOD after realizing it failed when I got up this morning and it's at like 95% but at the rate it's going I'm gonna have to delay. Let's say 6:30 to be safe?

Like, corporations in America already have so much power and barely need any pretense to fire people. You wanna shutter a department or lay off an entire team for no reason? We have nearly 10 years of precedent at this point showing nobody can or will stop you. Why the song and dance?

I imagine the main game mode as objective based. First team to clear a set number of tasks wins.

I probably should take some of my more manageable ideas (most of which are for couch co-op/party games) and try to make something out of them. at least one of them anyway.

Though honestly even if I did get the resources to make the game today I think I'd have to make it more like Super Battle Golf anyway. I was trying to build something with esport potential and even at the time the idea of new esport titles was wearing thin. Got a few game concepts like that tbh.

but other than that it's a similar premise. You had golf courses that mirrored at the halfway point, with the "green" serving as the team bases. Guns were available across the map. The golf ball was a bomb that might explode if you didn't score by par.

It could have been pretty cool it was just too big for me to do alone at my skill level at the time and my team all graduated when I did, so we didn't get to pursue it. It was space sci-fi themed, the golf clubs were all also melee weapons with different effects on players and the ball, etc.

I can't bring myself to play it, it's too similar in concept to my college capstone project I never had the opportunity to turn into a full game

Fixing stuff you already own is pretty much always the cheaper option over buying something new. There's a billion how-to videos on youtube, books in the local library, and probably people at the maker space /community college/ senior center who can show you how.

I think Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a lot more enjoyable if you accept that the story is being told by Athena, and Athena is an unreliable narrator. Otherwise her description of Jack doesn't make sense. Not unless you pretend the entire first game didn't happen.

I'm so happy that everyone seems to be in agreement that if there's ever somehow a Poker Night 3, Evangeline Morgan should be there. And yeah. She should.

I will be honest though I was kinda burned out on streaming by that point and I ran myself so ragged trying to get those two videos out that I traded in streaming for podcasting almost immediately after those videos were published. It was just more than I was ready to handle.

I learned motion tracking in the free DaVinci Resolve so I could put Ryuko Matoi's head over Sundowner. 2022 me was moving Differently lmao

What I did though is after playing that game I watched everyone else's MGRR videos. The Max0r one was relatively fresh, I think Shenpai, RTGame, and a few others put out videos. I could see what jokes were working and which ones hadn't been made and planned some jokes of my own before I started.
