It was delightful, we spent a good amount of time people watching having picnics, they'd brought full picnic baskets and the cutest set ups. It's so calm there.

Honestly if you are on the fence about booking to go to Japan, please do it! I'm by no means an expert now but with a bit or research to get your head around booking systems for things and travel you can have the most amazing time so if you have any q's just ask!

Day 9 - Arcades and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden - we had an evening flight so for our last day we had the hard task of spending our last loose yen in the arcades and visited one of the parks. The Greenhouse here was beautiful and full of the prettiest flowers!

Day 8 - Nintendo Museum!Out of all the things we had to book in advance for, we had missed the raffle registration for Nov by miles so Inel was checking the site every day on and off and we got a cancellation booking! Amazing experience, I could do a thread on just this alone.

Day 7 - Shinjuku and Harajuku! It was time to face facts we needed an extra suitcase each to fly home with! We went back to the Book Off we visited on Day 1. The 2DS was still there & is now mine! We had lunch with one of Inel's old school friends & explored Harajuku!

Day 6 - Tokyo Dome and Pokemon Cafe! We planned to explore the Imperial Gardens but unfortunately it aws closed so we ended up at the Tokyo Dome and rode a really cool rollercoaster called Thunder Dolphin! Then headed to Nihonbashi to the Pokemon Cafe and another Pokemon Center!

Day 5 - Ueno & Akihabara! We were definitely feeling it by this point so had a cultured afternoon in Ueno visiting the zoo and also the Museum of Nature & Science! Followed up by visiting our second character cafe the Monster Hunter Bar in Akihabara. I got to eat bunny dango IRL!

Day 4 - Shibuya! Probably not the smartest move to go here on a Saturday but we went to do the holy trinity of the Nintendo Store, Pokemon Center and Capcom Store all on one floor of the Parco mall. Did mean we could experience the Scramble at it's fullest though!

Day 3 - Tokyo Skytree & Kirby Cafe! It was a labour of love getting reservations for the cafe but it was so worth it, the food was delicious & staff were so nice! This is located next to Tokyo Skytree which is the worlds tallest tower at 634 metres. My ears popped in the lift up!

Day 2 - Super Nintendo World at USJ! Pictures do not do this place justice, the theming is so on point and I got to meet my short King Toad! We had a timed entry pass to guarantee entry at 10am and you can easily spend the whole day in just this part of the park!

Day 1 - Rest day in Shinjuku Stumbled on Godzilla, won Inel a Pikmin, went to our 1st Book Off & fell in love with a 2DS but didn't buy it.
