If youβre interested in a grand sokoban adventure thatβs not made by a massive bigot (which Iβm bringing up for no reason of course!), might I suggest Isles of Sea and Sky? One of the best games of last year by a lot!

There will never be anything cooler than the first shot of this teaser
Unfortunately my coworkers will now have to listen to me talk about Coven of the Chicken foot every day until release

Hello this is me watching that Divinity teaser #TheGameAwards
My favorite game I like to play while watching #TheGameAwards is placing each presenter in one of two categories:
βgamerβ
or
βnon-gamer trying to conceal their identity like a dark curseβ

End of thread. π§΅
HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE GAME DUMP!
10. Baldurβs Gate III
Cannot fathom the number of hours writing such a robust DnD-style game. What a masterclass. And every single character is the hottest hottie????? Thank u Larian.
9. Portal
This game broke my brain in the best possible way. Every second is pure fun.
8. Undertale
I debate with people about this game ALL the time, but I absolutely adore it. I was at a point in my life where I needed to hear exactly what it had to say, and will never forget my first playthrough.
7. Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life
This was where the magic of the medium really βclickedβ for me. Yes, thereβs a designed way to play a game. But youβre also allowed to create your own fun out of anything you see. No one will have the same experience as you.
6. Final Fantasy XIV
I swear this game saved my mental health during the early COVID years. So fun and the community was overall really welcoming and kind.
5. Disco Elysium
The world of this game is so well defined and really respects its source material. Genuinely beautiful.
4. Mass Effect Trilogy
I finally played this for the first time this year and as a games writer I am repenting every single day for my ignorance.
3. The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker
The first game I ever fell in love with. I felt like I had formed relationships with every single character and the MUSIC
2. Return of the Obra Dinn
I think about this game ever damn day. Lucas Pope you mastermind.
1. Hollow Knight
Unironically changed my life. Never called myself a capital G βGamerβ until I completed this one.
1 Woman, 10 Obsessions: a thread π§΅
I could talk about every single one of these games for hours on end. #gaming
We bring up so many random beloved video games in our design meetings, I decided to start keeping a list. πββοΈ
