2025 August Solo Ride Weekend solo motorcycle ride in Eastern Oregon.

Since this was the first cool August weekend in ages, I took the weekend off and went for a ride. 623 miles in Eastern Oregon, much of it on back roads, some paved some not. Saw a few historic buildings too. Photos on Flickr.

Was a unusual nice and somewhat cool day today in western Oregon, so of course I had to go for a #motorcycle ride. Found some new to me gravel roads and enjoyed them. As usual some roads just end at gates.

Been doing some test riding yesterday and will do some more today. Here they actually take you on a 20 min off road ride, which is very unusual for test rides.

And we're off to the Touratech rally in Washington State and then on to Canada.

Took a very nice motorcycle ride, part paved, part gravel, to the coast and back. Was a bit chilly though. Had a great lunch and brought some smoked salmon back for later.
