Which is "fine" when you're doing a marketing stunt. The person who pulled this played it smart and got what they wanted.
What's shocking to me is seeing who should know better take this at face value, as if there's an actual lesson about game design or generational shifts here.
Honestly, it's a complete misunderstanding of the game & genre, on par with asking people to jump blind into Battletoads and beat it in 90 min or without using any continues...
I'm begging people to stop taking this seriously... It's a marketing stunt AND a terrible test.
There's no "lesson" here besides how even industry people seem to have little understanding of Manic Mansion, HowLongToBeat, or the Adventure game genre in general.

Still had cutscene crashes in fullscreen, but it ran perfectly once I switched to windowed mode.
The art direction is probably the best thing about the game. Is not always good, but has some characters and areas that really stand out.
It's an impressive effort for a small team, but kinda sucks... combat is terrible and the missions are just giant chains of fetch quests where you spend most of the time just walking around giant empty areas :/

The US doesn't give a damn about international law, the point about it being illegal was always about US congress approval.
This is why it's bizarre to see people calling it "illegal war" as if that's their main issue with a goddamn war... It's now legal, fascists in suits decide what's legal.
Clever little budget-priced CPRG just left early access with a good launch discount, too.
A weird swampy fantasy setting, semi-real-time combat ala Vagrant Story and a cool claymation-esque art style. Also hugely undersold so far.

Also, in both Portuguese & Spanish we have "estadunidense", which is the official demonym for US citizens in several countries
"USian" is a way to translate that in English. If you think that's latinos being offensive, you're vastly underestimating what we actually say when we want to attack the US
