The talented artist who created so much art that I love and two logos for me. 💙💙💙
My friend had a great idea, and I backed her up. I think we need to do a lot more of this kind of thing. It builds community and helps stave off the despair.
I’ll come back to the cards. Just taking a little break because *waves arms about* this is all a bit much to absorb. Even knowing the intention is to flood the zone… the zone is still flooded as is my nervous system.

You don’t have to be skilled. You just have to be willing to step up.
This question inspired by the oft quoted comment from Mr . Rogers about looking for the helpers. I am always inclined to suggest that this was advice for children and had he been speaking to the adults it would have been an admonition to BE the helpers.
Eight of pentacles, reversed. Negative aspects of perfectionism. Rote, repetitive activity; inhibits creativity.
#TarotChallenge number 46
Deck: inversion tarot by Jodie Boginski Barbessi
Prompt: How to be the helpers…
We are not going back to that dry, desolate place. We have found greener spaces.
EIGHT OF CUPS • Walking away from an emotional attachment; abandon; feeling it's time to "cut bait," so you don't waste any more time • Disappointment • Moving toward something better • Weary and ready for change • Take time to be alone after a breakup
#TarotChallenge number 45
Deck: Inversion Tarot by Jody Boginski Barbessi
Prompt: What my younger self needs right now is…
This one was number 44 I think but I guess I didn’t enunciate or look back to see what the phone picked up. 😭
I am thankful to have a clear head lately. With Saturn in Pisces, many people are struggling with fogginess and confusion. I have Saturn in Pisces in my natal chart so these are the waters I swim in.
There are many challenges personality and broadly, but when I need to act, my thoughts are steady.
ACE OF SWORDS • Mental strength and courage; independent mind • Strategic thinking
ACE of • Intellectual enthusiasm; a new mental conquest • Cutting through cloudy thought (doubt, ambiguity) and seeing things clearly • Strong, honest, clear communication Reversed Meaning: • Over-analyzing a situation/issue • Static belief; close-minded • Unclear, confused
#TarotChallenge number 40
Deck: Inversion Tarot by Jody Boginski Barbessi
Prompt: Thank you for…
I understand and I understood the song to be about being loud and enthusiastic.
I love that kind of synchronicity! Tub thumping isn’t really my style but I can see how one might benefit from that practice in order to drum up some energy to persevere.
• Committed to seeing a project through to the very end
• Knowing it's almost over (and then you can relax!)
• On guard: you won't let anybody interfere and mess this up now
• You've seen how things can go wrong, so you're prepared for the worst (just in case)
The little book description is perfect. No notes.
In case the font is too small in the image…
NINE OF WANDS
• Endurance, exhausted but not giving up, stamina, perseverance
• Resilience, able to bounce back after rough times

Deck: inversion tarot by Jodie Baginski Barbessi
Prompt: What now?
There will be follow up questions, and do feel free to take inspiration from my regular practice. I’ve enjoyed sharing these!
And today Laurie Rivers told me she enjoys my posts here so nobody can tell me nothing! 😁
This is a new deck to me and I think I’m going to enjoy the simplicity of it.
Three of Pentacles, reversed. And I knew the answer. I am not getting the kind of support and input from some in my personal world that I’m giving.
#TarotChallenge number 42
Deck: Inversion Tarot by Jody Boginski Barbess
Prompt: Where am I leaking energy?
In other words, there’s nothing wrong with me. How I’m feeling is entirely appropriate to the unusual set of circumstances we find ourselves in.
Fitting back into normal is as challenging as adjusting to the holiday rush was. Add that to the political concerns we are facing and like the crow with all his eyes, I am feeling the need to be hypervigilant but I’m not sure where to look.
The Seven of Plumes appeared reversed. I am a bit untethered. The post holiday post snow drop has hit but it isn’t just the feeling of let down after excitement. I dislike the change in routine of the holidays and am unsettled for a bit because of that.
Tarot card Seven of plumes depicting a crow holding an arrow. It has an eyeball in its mouth and and several on its back.
#TarotChallenge number 41
Deck: The Wooden Tarot by A. L. Schwartz.
I’m feeling…
It’s mine. I created it and welcome anyone to take any of the prompts and do your own.
When those in power refuse to play by any kind of rules, those rules no longer apply to anyone.
You only have your own moral compass to worry about. Take care of your people by any means necessary.
Getting to know this deck is really going to be interesting.
It isn’t talking about the fact that there are shenanigans at play in US and world politics. It isn’t showing up in any negative way. Rather it is saying do not be afraid to change your ways of doing things for this next phase.
The Magician appeared reversed. This is an interesting deck. I’ve owned it for years but never used it, and I’m really glad I picked it up tonight so I can begin to get to know it.
The first thoughts I had were something like the Magic is going underground. Be subversive.
A tarot card labeled the magician depicting a Luna moth with stylized features, including realistic eyes on its wings, and a skull on its thorax with an infinity symbol, lying horizontally across the point of its tail.
