I've had a lot of ups and downs lately, but if I'm meant to date again someday, there will be a similar "bus breakdown" moment of random chance. That's the only way it can happen, so I can't let myself be stressed about it. Either it will happen randomly or it won't, and I can't control the outcome.
The only reason my ex and I reconnected as adults is that I was commuting by bus for my MBA internship and one morning, the bus broke down. I decided to get off and walk to the stop for my connecting bus. He saw me on the street and e-mailed me that night. There's no way I could have planned that.

Then I was only home a few days before I went to Phoenix for my ill-fated Mariners game. The auto museum was neat, though, and the weather was great, so it was still good. And I always like taking a quick walk through the airport art at PHX.
We ate at one of the Sapphire Dining places, which was good (small plate, tapas-style situation), walked around in the Gaslamp Quarter a little bit, took the ferry to Coronado so he could see the Del. So we did quite a bit for a day & a half!
Finally downloaded my photos from the last two trips! First up: San Diego. @apoure25.bsky.social and I went to the air & space museum. It was fine, but not really worth the steep price. I did see Snoopy, though (and Brad!). At least the waterfront & Midway you can see by just walking past.
