A photo of a square painting, placed on a wooden table and surrounded by paint brushes, paint tubes, coloured pencils, branches, and leaves. The painting features a clearing in a misty blue forest with a fallen, mossy tree trunk in the center of it. Glowing white flowers grow out of the moss. Small pale purple flowers are scattered in the grass around the rocks in the foreground.
In spring I always get the urge to paint flowers, which reflects in this scenery tutorial from last year, and the upcoming one will feature a dreamy, floral environment as well~ πΈ Stay tuned!
This tutorial is available on my Patreon for the Apprentice tier and higher: patreon.com/lindenshield...
A photo of a ceramic wolf. The wolf is glazed white with brown speckles.
A little wintery wolf! This piece will be available this Friday, March 13th at 8pm Eastern time.
Ohh negative drawing/painting is so much fun! Makes the brain gear totally different.
Yes! All the different mediums traditional art offers... it feels like magic, can affect so much, feel so different! It's a reason I've never fully migrated to digital art, even though I know I'm at a disadvantage sometimes staying like this.
I'm happy to hear when others find joy in it too β€οΈ
A black cat in a black hanbok and a white rabbit in a white hanbok. Both are holding broomstick. They're both chilling in the neighborhood.

digital painting of the salish sea coast at night, centering a calm tide against shoreline rocks. glowing in bioluminescent green is the ghostly form of a coastal seawolf. warm dots of light on a distant shore imply some distance from town
What a beauty! Those raden stripes look like aurora borealis shining on a night sky!

Thanks for the opportunity β€οΈ
White fluffy marshmallow is Vorna and the striped grumpy senior (pet parents shouldn't have favourites but I love him like crazy β€οΈ) is Loki.
It's been a while and I had no energy to reply to all of you, but I just want to thank everyone of the warm messages I received β€οΈ
It's almost been a month, which is hard to understand. I feel like I've been in a haze, but I've met some wonderful people during this time... I hope future will be kind.
I regularly hear this from other artists and have arrived to the conclusion that we simply don't exist in that environment. Many of the artsy folk try and no-one seems to stay, it seems our chances of bonding are different.
Ohhh They β€οΈ
A banner of two masculine characters leaning up against a birch tree. The one on the left is an Indigenous man wearing a vest covered in beadwork, and the one on the right has paler skin and orange hair, wearing a blue shirt with tassels on the chest. Both have soft expressions as they hold hands. Gold decorations frame the corners of the image, and the text "We've Always Been Here" takes over the right side in flowy, mock-gold text. A small note in the corner also reads, "Work in Progress Image."

Good bye mother, I love you more than can be described with words β€οΈ I'll always think about you, I'll try to keep your memory alive, for my child as well.
He misses you so, so much as well β€οΈ
We love you β€οΈ
Tonight I have lost my mother, after a sudden finding of a fierce and advanced, already incurable illness.
I have no words. Simply the endless sadness, a knowledge that from now on, no-one will ever love me as deeply and dearly as she did.
I feel alone and lost, but try to live on for my child β€οΈ
I'm looking forward to that One Day! Looks wonderful already
Sometimes all you can do is make the world 0.0000000000001% less awful by being a good person and it feels very meaningless but itβs also the only thing that really matters
I love the way you use the black pen!

The Amber Tree, this monthβs riso print
Iβve always had a love for amber fossils, so this one was a great excuse to do a bit more reading on the prehistoric insects preserved within and trees that were responsible.
