Today I went up to the Ancient Technology Centre in Dorset for their open day.
Brilliant re-enactors, ancient crafters, musicians and historically accurate buildings. Well worth a visit!

Yep,the Victorians said it was a hill fort, but it's not on a hill & there are 2 big hill forts about a mile away, it's now believed it was for 'ritual' use, but looking at the shape of it, and the fact that a chalk phallus was discovered there leads me to think what that ritual use was originally 😅

Thorncombe woods are wonderful, did you make it up to Rushey Pond or see the horses?

It seems crazy you can walk on it!

Here in Dorchester, the Romans converted an iron age henge into an amphitheatre, it was then used in the 1600s as a gallows. It's seen some action!
My daughter's are both 18 and love a CD, and they use streaming.
They mainly use streaming for playlists.
