I really mustn't watch 'Simon's Cat' videos in silent mode on the way home. I laughed out loud ... slightly embarrassing 😀 Funny though.

I loved Basil Brush when I was little. I can remember going to a pantomime and giggling away at him. I was still giggling long after he’d finished telling a joke too, but I was only five, so I was forgiven 😆

A monochromatic image of a solitary, weathered wooden bench perched on a windswept grassy knoll. The bench is angled towards a dramatic seascape. Beyond the foreground, the land slopes down to meet a rugged, rocky coastline where the restless sea churns. Waves crash against the shore, their white foam a stark contrast against the dark rocks and the deep, textured expanse of the water. The ocean's surface is alive with movement, hinting at the power and vastness of nature.
Old bench and the sea. Asturias.

37 million years old whale spine found in the hot dunes of Egypt. This is a complete skeleton, the first-ever find for Basilosaurus, a large, predatory, prehistoric archaeocete whale uncovered in Wadi El Hitan, preserved with the remains of its prey.

"I affirm that the daffodil is my favourite flower. For the daffodil comes, not only before the swallow comes, but before all the many flowers of summer; it comes on the heels of a flowerless winter. Yes, a favourite flower must be a spring flower."

For a friend.
Sometimes in life a light goes out and you realise that light was a bright one, a warmth that we all knew and had loved most of our lives. To anyone who has ever lost someone I am sending love to you.

Using the word, "thingy" when you can`t remember what something is called. This is then usually followed by frantic hand movements, whilst I am trying to describe what I mean through mime and interpretive dance 😆

There was a tiny Goldfinch on the washing line this morning. I think that they’re beautiful tiny birds. I love the little dance they do when calling to one another.

There are so many amazing people who are always creating beautiful things. I sometimes feel we are parked diagonally in a parallel universe and then I see everything from art, theatre, books, photography, audio drama etc and it brings a smile to my face. Thanks everyone 😀

I love the idea of how one snowflake can join together with others and create a magical landscape. Having friends like that who come together and work on projects I love, combining their thoughts and creating something beautiful, is a lovely thing.
