Yes exactly! I found a great photo of my nanna and her friend which could have been taken by Martin Parr...and has been shared on FB...but i then felt uncomfortable because i know the audience the photo would get on my substack is so different to the audience it received when shared...
Thankyou for reading. I am nervous about writing about this so openly, which perhaps is thr next thing I should write about - a kind of sense that I am betraying something or someone by opening them to exposure?
First time I've tried to write openly about class, instead of it being read/imposed on my work afterwards. Photo of my nanna outside her house on Braunstone estate in Leicester. I spent most of my childhood here after school waiting for my parents to finish work.
