Moxxie and Blitz mean everything to me, on a personal level

Anger is /never met with violence at IMP, and even Moxxie’s softest sides are completely accepted and allowed bo matter how many gay theater jokes Blitz makes

That’s his little brother- He’s legally obligated to give him a hard time for being cheesy af. But not hurtful, not dismissive

Imagine how freeing it feels to be told ‘You can do and say whatever you want, but so can I, and I’m a loud motherfucker who knows how to fight /real dirty if he has to’

But Blitz never sinks lower than filthy sex jokes and calling Moxxie limp dick chode. Which Millie instantly corrects

IMP isn’t just business; It’s family+ Blitz is their glue. Moxx can see that no matter how irritated or angry he gets -

And speaking of? Being /allowed to be angry in front of someone is crazy considering Moxxie spent his childhood being literally slapped in the mouth for daring to have feelings

And Moxxie truly understands how important that is both as an extremely insightful, sensitive soul /and as the son of powerful men who kept secrets and killed to protect Cosa Nostra (Mob Rules)

Nothing too intimate bc Blitz is terrified to /be seen still, but he’s trying

Millie is closest to Blitz because she knows how his walls work and something about her makes Blitz feel safer than with his best guy bud/little brother, but Moxx is right there in B’s inner circle

And tailors his responses, his intensity to what Moxxie needs- Not what’s socially correct, not what’s polite or any other bullshit

He supports his friend and tries to provide what Moxxie needs; A soft pushback from a safe person Moxx can trust

Moxxie is trying on his own authority, his big boy voice and Blitz doesn’t just hand him a win- What kind of mentor would just *give you the answers like that?

Blitz makes him sweat for it but doesn’t overwhelm the little guy. He gauges how secure Moxxie is in his attempts, how hesitant, how scared

Blitz isn’t gonna have tea and open up, that’s for DAMN sure even if Moxxie would be willing as hell

So they bond the way men do with men who have trouble openly being vulnerable; They rip each other up all day, but never roast too close to a real wound

And because Moxx can trust Blitz to be genuine and up front about his feelings, their relationship, he can also push boundaries as he grows into himself

The banter, the insults- Guys don’t sit there and have flowery heart to hearts, even when it’s soft bois like Moxx.

About he knows what Moxx is capable of and he pushes him to be the best version of himself in his own asshole way

He tell Moxxie all the good things Moxx can’t see about himself, promises to try to do better for him, and then /does it.

Nobody in Moxxie’s whole life has ever believed in him before

His /best friend is his boss. Blitz is invasive, abrasive, obnoxious… W/e, but Moxxie knows B won’t cross his serious boundaries

He NEVER goes near Moxxie’s abandonment fears, his lack of self-esteem/self-worth- The only time he addresses it is in Truth Seekers, when he gives Moxx a whole speech

He believes in his crew, his family, like nobody else and to Moxxie, a kid who grew up being told he was too soft and gay to be a good shot or partner in The Family Biz that’s better than gold

Blitz doesn’t give a singular fuck about power dynamics or being the boss; Moxx could call him ugly to his face and Blitz would probably be like ‘Fuck you. Fair point, sure, but still fuck you baby dick’ and that’d be the worst of it

Blitz is very good natured and supportive to the point of stupid

bro i think if stolas peppered kisses over blitz’s little face i would actually lose my entire mind & start sobbing uncontrollably

This is SO IMPORTANT for anyone trying to understand Moxxie’s character.

Moxx was raised in a mafia house; You take your orders, don’t argue, and shut the fuck up unless asked to say ‘yessir’

Nono! It’s a fair point and I forgot that B and the crew actually meet the Cherubs and explicitly say ‘not THESE fuckers!’, meaning they’re familiar with CHERUB as rivals, at least, even if they don’t know they’re actual Heavenly beings

Having TV and knowing the cherubs exist is really different than knowing say, Sera, is a thing that exists and that Heaven could portal down whenever they want to do whatever they want

Knowing bits and scraps is fair enough, but the power structures/ hierarchies are a total unknown quantity to them
