Well after the crowd cleared way for ICE's car, you see an agent throw tear gas directly at the media truck and camera operators. Clear intent to suppress documentation of their crimes.

What happened to Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez Immigration agents shot and killed an unarmed 38-year-old father outside Chicago on Fridayβ€”and their initial narrative of events was quickly disproven by videos captured by witnesses.

New, w/ @mulchy.bsky.social & @djbyrnes1.bsky.social:

ICE shot & killed an immigrant in the Chicago suburbs yesterday.

Then they immediately gave a misleading account of events.

Chicago erupted in chaos and a father who lived here for decades is dead. This is what really happened:

On this day in 1963, more than 250,000 people gathered for the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. It demanded fair wages, equal rights, and dignity on the jobβ€”and showed that civil rights and labor rights are inseparable.

All this while BIL CHIPS and IRA teed up a once in a generation run of successes on EXACTLY WHAT HE RAN ON that he easily could have taken credit for. Bringing jobs back.

All burned to the ground due to petty grievances, made up culture war nonsense, and fossil industry capture.

A megabill mystery: New solar and wind tax comes as a surprise to Republican senators "I don't know where it came from," Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., the chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, told NBC News after he released the 940-page legislation.

NEW: Tucked inside the GOP mega-bill is an excise tax for solar and wind.

And Republicans say they have no idea who put this provision in, or why.

"I don't know where it came from," Senate Budget Chair Lindsey Graham, who released the bill, tells NBC News.

IBEW International President Kenneth W. Cooper issued the following statement on Senate Republicans’ draft reconciliation bill released Sunday night:

β€œThis budget reconciliation bill is a direct attack on working families, shoveling tax breaks to the rich while turning its back on the people who power this country.

β€œThe IBEW strongly opposes any proposal that guts infrastructure investment, especially plans like this one that sacrifice existing economic development while providing no clear benefit to working Americans. At a time when we should be investing in energy independence at home, this bill forces our economy to rely on foreign adversaries while dramatically increasing energy bills for every household and draining local communities of the jobs they rely on.

β€œMake no mistake, this bill will cost hundreds of thousands of good-paying construction jobs, billions of work hours, and hundreds of billions in lost wages and economic benefits to America’s middle class.

β€œIBEW members and every average American will pay the price as congressional Republicans abandon critical investments in American infrastructure and the energy independence they have been tripping over themselves to take credit for the last few years.

β€œThat so many of these investments are in the rural areas and small towns left behind for generations is even more troubling.

β€œAmerica’s working families deserve more.

How the Senate GOP’s New Tax on Renewables Could β€˜Kill’ the Industry As bad as previous drafts of the reconciliation bill have been, this one is worse.

Republicans are now suddenly planning to TAX renewable energy, transforming the repeal of the IRA from a challenge to a full-blown crisis for American solar and wind.

I spent the last 24 hours putting this story together to explain why.

Please share! This is really important!!!

Republicans have moved from killing the incentive programs that speed delivery of the cheapest and cleanest energy to consumers to actively taxing them, actively raising the prices on the most affordable electricity
