The whole AI thing has been rushed is a huge negative bubble on many fronts: security, ethically, financially, morally, environmentally, socially and economically.

I hope these incidents including what's going on with OpenAI/ChatGPT forces people to step back from AI and rethink the AI hype train.

Google API Keys Weren't Secrets. But then Gemini Changed the Rules. ◆ Truffle Security Co. Google spent over a decade telling developers that Google API keys (like those used in Maps, Firebase, etc.) are not secrets. But that's no longer true.
