Fantastic display and a cruel end. Lads learn to kill a game please - where have performances like that been all season?! #NUFC

This is genuinely sad. Imagine lowering yourself to this sort of performative nonsense. Good lord.
He's not been the same since he did his shoulder. Neither are up to the level I'd hope for.
He literally just fell over, didnt appeal, didnt even look at the ref. Refs dont understand the game and it's spoiling games as a spectacle).
Might just be contextual compared to Pope who is not great with/petrified using his feet.
Oh, and never (like ever) write Kieran Trippier off. What a signing, What a bloke #NUFC
I'm as critical of Ramsdale as they come but have to say when down to 10 men his ability to act as an extra man ball retention wise (not Pope smashing it out of play panicked) made a huge huge difference. Some belting saves fair play #NUFC
Well well well #NUFC
I knew where that was going haha
Transfermarkt does mate
Ramsey is also out through illness no?
Shot on Targett (sorry)
Exactly how(e) I feel (sorry).
A spot on assessment
But looking at what happened post SBR and the dross we have had to face I still think it would be a real shame to lose Howe and would hope (given time) he becomes the guy we need him to be. Look at Spurs post-Poch for example.
Howe 100% needs to learn how to coach with midweek games. He also needs to find a way to distill his messages and get players up to speed as we cant have every new signing needing 6-12months before they're up and running.
Its pretty clear the overarching infrastructure is/was non-existent and Mitchell ran for the hills when it was clear his mate was our of the picture and he'd not just done nothing he'd massively cocked up.
No I agree and thats not what I'm saying. My point was that the fundamental nature of the changes (and the signings not being good enough) combined with no training is the problem. If we'd have signed Ekitike it would have been fine (probably) because the role was already defined in a set system.
The whole infrastructure of the team had to shift. Start of the season we were solid but couldn't score now way to open? I'm only saying I'm not sure how you're supposed to form a team when it's game to game. This isn't just like adding to the existing team. Im not saying Howe is perfect either!
Is it not more that you can't dump a load of new players on him when he's got not time to train them in? Adding 2-3 to a core base is one thing. Also doesn't help losing 25-30 goals from a side and having to find a new approach without the right tools with no time etc
Unless something dramatically changes it's fairly clear the summer was on the main a bust (Ramsey and Thiaw aside). Not sure what more Howe is supposed to do with what he's got #NUFC
This is incredible. Well played sir.
Not to slag off someone who is unwell but he did give the vibe of being an ego on a stick without much to back it up. A deal with Adidas (which Villa also got) was held up as the big off pitch achievement...
Screams of naivety and lack of proper planning as even a quick chat raises the question about competition from whoever else would be in the market. Absolutely criminal to not get Wissa deal done before Man U bid for Mbeumo.
I think both things can be true though. Isak acted insanely poorly (and as poorly as you're going to see) and its hard to plan for the extent of that but how on earth can there be absolutely no plan and contingencies especially if he was making noises middle of last season. Crazy!
I've just been to the Dragao a couple of weeks ago and eas quite surprised at how little there was about the women's side for such a huge club (both in the context of Portugal specifically and Europe)
It's as sad as it is awful.
If you use removepaywall.com that should help
Yep retake the freekick and we could move on.
