Well yeah, exactly! We don’t see the big whoop with celebrating Easter on Palm Sunday since we’re fully removed from the calendar. Yet we want to invite people to our “Christian” church to celebrate “Easter” haha
I know I’m beating a resurrected horse, but it is so bizarre that the LDS church would reschedule Easter celebrations in favor of General Conference. This is one of the things that show our complete disconnect with broader Christianity.

I saw a Leonard Arrington quote (maybe from his journals) in the last couple of weeks where he was talking about the hypocrisy of CES teachers hating communism when they basically live off church welfare. Did anyone else see this? Did I dream it?
The second worst part of TRT has been the increase in back hair and hair on the backs of my arms. And the only reason that it’s bad is that it’s patchy. I wouldn’t be as annoyed if it was like a sweater.

Sometimes I get invited to work things and I don’t know why and I shoot up and there is no one there that I know and I totally hate that. I’m at work EARLY to hang out with STRANGERS
My family growing up always woke up at like 3/4 a.m. on Christmas but my kids sleep in until 8 or so. It’s so strange! But also I love the extra time.

My ancestral recipe Aunt Maurine's Potato Casserole 8 large potatoes with skins on-cook till dond but firm • ‡ cup butter 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pint of sour cream 1 cup green onions chopped finely 14 cups shreaded cheddar cheese 1 tsp. salt $ tsp. pepper crushed cornflakes, buttered Peel and grate potatoes. Heat butter, soup, and onions. Stir in cheese and sour cream. Stir into potatoes. Put in 9 x 13 baking dish. Put buttered crumbs on top. Bake 30 min. at 350°
