What they have done lets predators in easier. Now trans men will be forced to use the women’s restroom - muscled, bearded, hairy guys that look no different than any man using the men’s restroom. So predators no longer have to pretend to be trans women. They’ve given any male an open invite.
I think Rep. McBride’s response is great for what she needs to do. I also think continually finding ways for trans men to be at the Capitol, using the facilities, might show citizenry how counterintuitive these proposals actually are.
Males can get breast cancer, whether they transition or not. The chances do go up when someone transitions male to female. Transgender women have been found to develop endometrial or mullerian tissue as well. It isn’t well studied, but it has been found. You know nothing about medicine/science.
There can be valid concerns, but there is data that shows it actually isn’t much of an advantage to be trans in sports. There can always be further research, but this is a good metric that aligns with previous research. www.forbes.com/sites/lindse...
