this is another banger. Had to go to my PC setup just to properly listen to this on my IEM's. Keep up the great music.

I just switched from #Openvibe to #flare. It's open source, seems to be updated regularly. can basically do almost the same things Openvibe can but is also cross-platform (Android, IOS, windows and MacOS)
That Resonite might be able to do similar for others.
I feel like Resonite has helped me personally way more than anything else.
Especially with my fear of friends. I have some bad history with people self identifying as friends and abusing that.
I'll propoably make a longer YT video about this when I feel comfortable with sharing more. As I believe...
+1 what initially got me exited for Resonite was:
1. Wait? I can just edit stuff ingame?
2. Wait? The devs are really cool and approchable?
Neat! Imma invest some time into learning this platform and try to use it to help get over my social anxietys. And it has definitely helped a lot.
If I put a lot of fruit into a blender and turn it into a smoothie to drink. Am I drinking fruit? Yeah right?
Ok now let's reframe that.
If a company puts copyrighted works into a machine that then regurgitates that data, they are still infringing on copyright. No?
Resonite uses Bepu physics and even after all the abstraction layers it runs surprisingly well.
I love using / abusing Spatial variables in #Resonite for all sorts of things.
Divying up number of elements in a area. Transfering data from one object to another wirelessly. Automatically linking tools to a central manager. Setting zones for specific gravety, temeperature and much more.
I'm surprised how well the AI Dialogue Leveler in Davincy resolve works. It was able to make everyone in a hectic 5 player playtest session be fairly understandable without mangling sound effects or tonality of the voices. This might be the first AI tool that does what it should...
When?
Tried to make a custom permissions system... Failed horrendously...
Though I learned a lot since then, and I think I have some ideas on how to make it work.
Day 18 of # MMC. (Slept through day 19 oops).
Did a Texture pass on everything.
Looks a lot less debuggy and flat now. The shadows also add a lot imo.

Day 17 of #MMC.
Today i added a nice little table under the board. This verry nicely ties the game together imo. The Table is also height adjustable for all the tiny critters.
Maybe I should also provide small stools? Though fly mode and scaling yourself is also an option. #Resonite #Gamejam #Polish
No media on Bluesky again.. Let's see if this works...

Fuck #DB for not having any displays and Announcements today. Went past my station because I couldn't see where we were and GPS also did not work.
Day 15 of #MMC.
I finally finished all the gameplay Systems.
Gonna focus on visuals and more Words next. (Including special words like users in session)
Now to cleanup that mess of flux... #Spagett#visualProgramming
On day 14 of #MMC I worked on the generation of the marker cards. As well as fixing a bug that crashed non host users if they submit a hint.
#Resonite
Day 12 of #MMC.
Today i didn't get to do much because of a medical emergency in my Family.
But I still managed to fix some bugs. It's always something broken when you try to make stuff local to a user in #Resonite. The Engine is just too good at Syncronizing stuff lol. (In 95% that's good..)
Original post: wetdry.world/@matildalove...
Only marker card distribution and rules left. Then this should be fully playable.
After that I'll do some cleanup, do some QOL additions and Card-packs. After that I'll try to implement my stretch goals. If there's time left that is.
Hint display for SideChannels game with a hint word and Number
Day 11 of #MMC.
Today i worked on the hint display.
This one is also (locally) moveable. Though only the vertical offset changes. General position and rotation is still fully managed by the Game to prevent it from getting lost.
The hint displays also have animations.

And if you fell like you need to take a break, eat a snack, do a flip or be a creature on the internet. Then thats fine.
Were all just humans... Pushing beyond that doesn't work. What happens, if you push past that barrier? --- nothing good. I like humans being humans and treated (and treating themselves) as such. We are not Machines, nor should we strive to be.
Day 10 of #MMC.
Today I didn't get much done... Thanks #DeutscheBahn for that...
Aaaanyways I added some much needed lighting to the game board. Both for the cards themselves but also to further highlight the active team. The team light also uses a light cookie. #Resonite #lighting #Teams #DB
Day 9 of #MMC.
Today I had to redo a lot of stuff from yesterday because I didn't save it correctly. Though that gave me the opportunity to simplify the Hint backend stuff and add some more Polish.
A better Hint display is also in the works. #resonite #CTRL+S #STRG+S
I very much appreciated all the care and thought that you and the whole @resonite.com Team are putting into preventing such a fate. I always love using stuff made by people that love, what they do.
Fancy. I might really have to look into getting custom inspectors working...
