Interesting, I felt the Maki match worked because of the story being told in the ring. My complaint is it was wasted on a tourney match and not a properly built match. But I do agree this has been a great tourney so far, the best of five I've seen at least. π

This is true to most of the STARDOM/Joshi rosters and a reason why the bookers need to embrace more singles feuds rather than via stables. This tourney has thus far been a revelation in how good the STARDOM rookies can be when given a chance.

We're eight weeks away from the show which is plenty of time to set up the match whoever it may be. The Mexico trip is only for a week I believe so that isn't a hurdle. It all depends on how Saya's injury heals and if she aggravates again upon her return.
I won't dissent for your view point, those were just my personal picks. I know they don't usually do rematches right away (outside of Tam last year) so Saya vs SLK II might be too soon for them. I also think Maika has some unfinished business with Saya that they haven't revisited.
My top three choices are Hazuki, Syuri, and Maki Itoh. Hazuki has been overlooked for too long, Syuri has a victory over Saya, and Maki Itoh is a long shot but already has name value in STARDOM. That said, they'll probably go with Konami title vs title as Okada has a HATE fetish right now. π
