Roz Chast is doing super-realistic work these days
It started two nights ago in Cheshire. The lounge is now adrift in cat hair.
From FT Datapoints by John Burn-Murdoch: the near wipeout of conservative support among young adults in Britain stands in sharp constant to the US and Canada
Happy to be the bearer of the rare good news from the UK

At this stage, even The Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is looking at Suella Braverman and saying "that's a bit much, mate".

Oh God yes. Iβm in the UK and now want to book a flight straight to San Antonio

Please spread this word far and wide it is the word the world needs now
If the world is still habitable in 2040 when you turn on the news it will just be two people saying βfuck youβ to each other back and forth until they cut to a commercial.
Oh, my friends, if you have complete, functional Achilles tendons, treasure them. TREASURE them.

It is an astonishing collection, and I am grateful for it.
Totes. Iβm a fan of popcorn and wine, myself. And ice cream sandwiches. My partner is in the UK and Iβm in the US, both of us looking after aging parents, and we both love to cook. So itβs kind of a bummer, but on the other hand, there are plenty of ice cream sandwiches to ease the pain.
Itβs a tough transition but Iβm grateful for having all that home-cooked stuff in the freezer on nights when I just canβt be bothered.
Right? The freezer is your friend.

Heβs put together several horror/spec-fox anthologies, has a few horror novels out, and teaches writing (which is where I know him from).
If Richard Thomas has anything to do with it, itβll be great. The guyβs amazing.
Have you heard of Bone Clones? I desperately want a skeleton of a French bulldog. That skull! π
