Not my family already giving me a bit of a mini-heart attack on events happening later this year that may affect my summer photography... It's not finalized yet, but I am mostly frustrated because my family doesn't really talk to me about certain plans and I have to adjust for their convenience.
I say this, respectfully... Fuck AI. #fuckai
While we can never rid of AI entirely (and don't get me started, there isn't such thing as "ethical AI"), just because you think you can, doesn't always mean that you should. Use your head. Educate yourself. Check your ego. Be a better human being and save our world before we lose it.
Support your local businesses of creative, real people with genuine, raw talent - photographers, graphic designers, family, friends - and build a community that is impactful on a meaningful, human scale that technology that never take away/replicate. Because if we lose that today, our bonds remain.
I feel that people get so lost in their vanity and ego that they forget what it means to be a good and honest person anymore. What seems like a fun and harmless trend is slowly hurting the environment further and even more so, hurting themselves and those around them. Losing true connection.

As an artist and businessperson, I am very irritated to see that other photographers and businesses are not only using ChatGPT and AI tools to make lazy art and photos of themselves, but also using them to promote themselves and their businesses. It's tacky, lazy, and insulting!

Hello everyone, I am back to posting on here. I hope you all are doing great :)
And while I may not be the world's best writer... Boy, do I have a lot to say.
Maaaaaaan I got so worked up about writing a new blog entry, I have to take a break from it today. I'll revisit it again tomorrow during my power hour.
This is what happens when you get into the moment and you catch yourself before going in way too deep. It hasn't happened to me in a long while.

So this holiday season, as well as every day on, go support your fellow man and environment, and create magical memories that you can immerse yourself in and remember for years to come. The best present is being present, and it’s the gift that lasts forever.
With great power comes great responsibility - protecting our environment, ethically supporting our fellow artists (friends and family), the integrity of our identities from our digital imprints, and utilizing technology for building innovation for the better good.
I PROMISE YOU that nothing beats the experience of immersing yourself in the environment you create together, and the last memories and connections that you make with others by living in the moment. I feel that is what we as a society are sacrificing just to be liked.
I get it: It's fast convenient, and fun. I think what is most harmful out of all of this is the mission - intended or not - of the instant gratification of getting likes on social media. The biggest and most meaningful impact you can make is sharing creativity through collaboration w/ others.
It is honestly very upsetting and discouraging as a photographer when you see those who are consistently using AI to generate fun photos. It negatively impacts the environment globally, and discredits to the friends/family/businesses who do photography and art for a living.

I lost one of my pet-sitting clients yesterday. At Sweet 16, she was the healthiest and happiest pup I have ever worked with. Just shy of 4 years, she was my little bestie, and biggest supporter of my little business. Now I am making moves to do bigger things, coming 2026.
