You're so right. I've gone back and played a ton of games from previous console generations and the PS1 library blows the N64 library out of the water. Lots of N64 games also aged really poorly.

There are more hacks that are being brainstormed right now that are even bigger on designing to the medium - which is a discord server, not a table. I won't speak on them since they are not my games, but I'll happily link you to their discussions if you'd like.

The culture of roleplay that is happening in these games is spawning new games that center that roleplay. Like, there is nothing in the Cataphract rules document that talks about this *at all* but Vanitera, for example, added a new players role, Diplomat, that is basically just all communication
