I wouldn't pay £50m for Wissa.
If they'd said the price was £30m, we'd have offered £15m. I'm commenting on the way we do transfers. There's a reason we have signed one proper player in three windows.
You could make that point about this deal, but not about us potentially missing out on Trafford, who would be our keeper for the next 10-15 years, over a few million.
I just hope we get some deals done.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former player, Wyn Davies at the age of 83.
‘Wyn the Leap’ made over 200 appearances for the club and was part of our 1969 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup winning side.

Quite sad Longstaff is off. Solid player who never let anyone down and had some special moments. In a just world, he would spend his whole career here as cover. Sadly, the rules dictate if you want to play for your hometown club, you're better off being developed elsewhere. #nufc
